The new Channel Frame incorporates wood channels into which you can easily slide your rug hooking strips and remove them from the channel with ease. Available in kit form as shown, they are perfect for any project where you would need to change strips frequently, or need your strips secured properly without use of adhesives or staples. Thus, one frame can suit multiple backings.
We also offer this simple 12" x 12" Rug Hooking Frame made from clear pine and fixed to a veneer base. Perfect for beginners, or for instructors & teachers to offer to their students. Available in kit form as shown, including our #3 Gripper Strips for Burlap and/or Primitive Linen or #4 Gripper Strips for Monks' Cloth or Primitive Linen. Cleaning brush shown in photo is available separately.
We manufacture 3 types of standard gripper strips for rug hooking frames which grip the rug backing allowing the pattern to be repositioned in seconds. You can order your frame strips according to the type of fabric you work with: EH3CC - For use with Burlap/Linen. EH4CC - For use with Monk's Cloth/Linen . EH5CC – Is for use with Fine Linen/Punchneedle work.
We also offer RH4CC - For tapestries, wall hangings and fabric art allow you to hang your fabric art with no lacing or tacking required so you won't damage it.
In addition to the rug hooking strips, we also have wood channels which you can easily slide your rug hooking strips into and remove from the channel just as easily. They are for any project where you would need to change strips frequently, or need your strips secured properly and can easily attach to our Beginner Frame to offer you the same flexibility of changing out your strips for different backing use. We can make these wood channels for any length, and to fit all our rug hooking strips.
